Start your Naples Real Estate Search before the Winter Season begins!

Why you should start your home search early!

Storm clouds over Naples Florida Seasons come and go and, for most of the United States they are associated with weather ranging from freezing cold winters through spring, summer and fall changes.  It's a little different down here in the South West of Florida, yes, we do have seasons but in reality, we only have two, one wet and the other our wonderful dry season which runs over the winter months.

Traditionally, the Naples Real Estate Market has been slow during the wet summer months, with fewer residents in town together with a much smaller number of part-time residents, summer has been known during the real estate profession, as a time to take a vacation, relax and enjoy the slower pace for a short while.  But that is no longer true!  yes, we have always had buyers during the summer and yes, some buyers do think ahead.  But there are still a large number of people that wait until coming into town for the winter season to start searching for new homes or condos to buy.

So why start your search before the Naples Winter Season?  It's simple, prices are rising on all home types from luxury homes to the lower end "bargain" homes, which are extremely hard to find and are becoming very rare, this last summer has seen rising prices coupled with an inventory that is depleting rapidly.  We are receiving multiple offers on homes, with many selling at above the listed price.  With the "Naples Season" just around the corner, it makes sense to do a lot of the legwork involved in looking for homes before you visit and I strongly advise, if you find the perfect home, don't wait, it may be sold the next time you look.  So, find a Realtor® you feel confident in, start the process early, if you have the time come down and view the homes that interest you. At the very least if your waiting until the winter season, be prepared, do your homework, research the type of home you would like, decide how far out from the coast you are prepared to live to get the right property, find out what your budget will allow you to spend and get pre-approved for a mortgage if you need one.
