Naples Florida Real Estate - Is it hard to find good value homes for sale in Naples?

Waterfront property is always high in demand in Naples. The market in Naples has been extremely hectic over the summer months, a time when we normally expect a slowdown and the chance to take a break, this year, however, the slow down has not arrived. Our agents are busy with clients, but the one thing I hear over and over again is that inventory of homes for sale in Naples is very low.  Most of the bargain foreclosure and short sale homes have been snatched up long ago, those that do come onto the market are sold very quickly normally to investors who make it their full-time job to be ready and waiting as soon as a property is released for sale.  What we are seeing at the moment is lots of these foreclosed homes coming back onto the market, fully refurbished, new carpets, tile, kitchens and bathrooms, all with a large increase in the price tag. Some of my clients have not wanted to invest in these homes, lots of reasons, one being that they feel they are being taken advantage of and that the investors are making too much money.  Whether or not this is true, these homes should still be considered, the inventory is extremely low in our area and I expect it's the same throughout many other areas too.  So is it hard to find good value homes when searching for Naples Florida Real Estate deals?  I think as long as you are ready and willing to put in the time or let a Realtor® do the legwork for you, there are still some good deals out there.  However, I do advise if you find a property you really want, put in your best offer, all too often I am coming across homes with multiple bids on them, if you make your best offer first there is a good chance that the seller will agree or negotiate with you.  If you put in a low ball offer you will probably get a response of "not interested".
