Sometimes it's good to stop, stand back, and take a good look at why you moved to Naples in the first place. I had traveled extensively in Floria, searching for the right place to live. Working my way from the panhandle in the North, I finally found Naples and looked no further.
The other day I was out on a boat with some friends and had the chance to meet a dolphin up close and personal. He traveled alongside us for almost 30 mins, from the back bay in Vanderbilt Beach, along the intercoastal out to Wiggins Pass, a well-known inlet providing access to the Gulf. He swam in our wake, rolling, jumping, and simply having fun. It took my breath away and made me realize, not for the first time, just how lucky I am to be able to call Naples my home.
