Dog Friendly Condos in Naples Florida
If you love your pets, then finding dog-friendly condos in Naples is a must, leaving them behind to most pet owners is just not an option! Being the owners of three amazing companions, one with two legs, and all of them rescues, finding places that welcomed our pets was an essential part of our home search when we recently moved.
Animal lovers consider their pets part of the family, and we are no exception! Whether you have a 5lb Yorkie or a Bull Mastiff, many animal lovers treat dogs as if they are almost human. My wife and I personally have three a Spring Spaniel, a tiny yappy Yorkshire Terrier, and a Heinz, with only three legs and six teeth, she is the best dog ever.
Taking them with me sometimes is not always possible. It was essential to my family that when we moved into town, we did not have to rehome any of our pets. So finding the right property was paramount. We searched for a long time before we finally settled, many condos only allow one pet.
Many of the Pet-friendly communities in Naples have rules and restrictions when it comes to their pet policies. Some have limits on the number of dogs you can have in a condo, and others have a size or weight restriction, each community that allows pets is different. While we have tried to include all the dog-friendly condos in Naples, it is not always possible to be updated, and rules change, so please forgive us if we have included or excluded any inadvertently.
As dog lovers, finding real estate in Pet-friendly gated communities is something we enjoy! Our search to find a community that welcomed pets but also has rules so as not to be offensive to other residents took some time, so feel free to contact us at any time for help and advice on the best places to live with your dog. If you are a seasonal winter visitor, it is not so easy to find Pet-friendly vacation rentals as many of the dog-friendly communities have restrictions that apply just to renters. However, it is not impossible; just make sure you plan well ahead. If you want to be by the beach, check out the condos at Regatta or Bayfront to be close to downtown and fabulous boating.
There are plenty of great parks in Naples to take your four-legged friend for a run and meet with other pet parents, and there is even a dog beach located just a little further north of Naples in Bonita Beach. At the dog beach, the tide can sometimes be restrictive depending on the size of your four-legged friend. At low tide, the beach is long and wide with plenty of places to run and play. However, at high tide, the water covers the path to the beach, and the beach becomes narrow, you may have to wade through knee-high water to get to the beach, making it difficult for smaller dogs.
Many of the shops and outside restaurants in Naples are dog-friendly. Including our office, when walking along Fifth Avenue South, feel free to pop in or take advantage of the water bowl and treats we leave out daily. Many other store owners place water bowls in their doorways and welcome your four-legged family members. Many of the restaurants downtown allow your furry family members to sit with you when you are dining outside.
